Students who are exhibiting symptoms of COVID 19 will need to have a negative test to return to school. Testing is offered by our school nurses. If no negative test is provided they will be excluded 10 days from the first day of symptoms.
Lebanon School District Parents/Guardians and Staff,
During the January 11, 2022 School Board meeting, the Board approved changes to the District’s Safe Return To In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan (SRCSP), specifically for individuals who have tested positive for COVID. Effective immediately, in conjunction with recommendations from the CDC, the District’s policy for COVID positive individuals is as follows:
-
Any student/staff who have tested positive may be eligible to return from exclusion after 5 days have passed since symptoms first appeared and if they are asymptomatic, or symptoms are resolving:
-
A mask must be worn for the remaining 5 days following exclusion while participating in school or school-sponsored activities.
-
Students in MSHSAA school-sponsored activities will be required to follow MSHSAA Return To Play protocols. Talk to your coach for details.
