Ava’s Grace Scholarship:

AGSF will award scholarships for higher education on an annual basis to children of incarcerated parents who reside in Missouri, Kansas, or Illinois.

MSBA - John T. Belcher Scholarship


One LHS senior will represent our school in one of the 16 regional scholarship competitions to receive a $1,ooo award. The winners of the regional competitions will then compete to receive the statewide award of $2,500. High achieving students displaying leadership abilities both in school and in their community are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.

Brunswick Foundation Scholarship 

This scholarship is available to the children of Brunswick Company (Lowe Aluminum Boats) employees. Eligible students will need to contact the human resources department to obtain an application.

Community Foundation of the Ozarks 

A variety of scholarships are available to students through this web site. The scholarships are offered by local donors and are available only to students from the local area. Students will want to search this web site for scholarships specific to their areas of interest or their specific needs.

Missouri Corn Scholarships 

This year, the Missouri Corn Growers Association and Missouri Corn Merchandising Council will award seven deserving college juniors and high school seniors $1000 scholarships for the 2017-2018 school year. High school applicants must be Missouri residents from a Missouri farm or rural area. They must also plan to attend a two-year or four-year Missouri college or university and major in agronomy or related field. The scholarship funds will apply toward the freshman year of college expenses for high school senior winners.

Conservation Foundation of Missouri Scholarships 

The scholarships sponsored by this foundation are offered to students pursuing a degree in the natural resources field of study.

Missouri Sheriffs’ Association - John Dennis Memorial Scholarship 


The John Dennis Scholarship is in the amount of one thousand dollars
Will be presented to sixteen college-bound Missouri high school seniors who intend to pursue a criminal justice career and will be attending a Missouri college or university


Applicants must be in good standing with his/her school
Applicants must have a good reference from his/her school counselor
Applicants need to demonstrate financial need
Applicants are required to have a 2.0 GPA or greater
Applicants should be active in extracurricular activities
A paragraph must be attached to the application detailing his/her goals ten years after high school graduation.

Epsilon Sigma Alpha Scholarships 

This organization sponsors a variety of scholarships for students. Go to the website listed above to access the listing of scholarships that will be available to students wishing to apply.

Farm Kids for College Scholarship 

Quality ag. education provides a path for today's young people to meet the challenges that lie ahead in food and agriculture. As college costs continue to grow, the people at National Farmers want to assist students with our national Farm Kids for College Scholarship.

The competition is open to high school seniors who plan to pursue agriculture-related degrees from accredited colleges or universities.

Based on competitive selection, judges choose three national scholarship winners in the spring of each year. All three winners receive $1,000 each. This is a non-renewable, freshman scholarship.

To be eligible for the National Farmers Farm Kids for College Scholarship, you must:

• Be a high school senior

• Major in an agricultural field at an accredited college or university

Friends of the Library – Robert J. Stuckey Essay Contest

The contest is open to Missouri High School students (in the 9th through the 12th grades), and only one entry will be accepted from each school. Home-schooled students living in Missouri are also eligible to apply. Each school is to choose the essay to be submitted. Essays should not have been submitted to any previous contest or have been previously published. Common topics for essays are literary analyses, accounts of personal experiences and fictional short stories.

Foundation for Rural Service Scholarship (Fidelity) 

The Foundation for Rural Service (FRS), in cooperation with NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association, seeks to sustain and enhance the quality of life throughout rural America by advancing an understanding of rural telecommunications issues. Through its various programs and initiatives, FRS strongly supports the continuing education of rural youth.

Each applicant must:

• Be sponsored by a current NTCA member (Fidelity Communications) or FRED Donor Circle member.1

• Be accepted by an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school.

• Have at least a C grade point average (GPA).

• Express an interest to return to a rural community following graduation.

Hagan Foundation Scholarship

The Hagan Scholarships are for high achieving rural students who will require financial assistance in order to attend college. These students will graduate from a public high school located in one of twenty eligible states and in a county having fewer than 50,000 residents. Hagan Scholars currently attend 134 different colleges and universities.

Head Start Scholarship

This $500 nonrenewable scholarship is offered to graduating seniors who have been enrolled in a Head Start program and live in one of the following counties: Camden, Crawford, Laclede, Gasconade, Maries, Miller, Phelps, or Pulaski County.

Kansas City Associated Equipment Distributors Scholarship

The Kansas City Associated Equipment Distributors award up to four annual scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each ($500 per semester) to up to four full-time students. Both men and women, attending a vocational/technical school, and pursuing a certificate or associate's degree in Diesel Mechanics or Heavy Equipment Repair, are eligible to apply.

Kiwanis Club - Earl Collins Memorial Scholarship

Applicants for this scholarship will be required to displayed high academic success and financial need. Applications will be available in the Counselor's office during the first semester of the school year.

Mensa Foundation Scholarship

There are two requirements for applicants:

The applicant must be enrolled in a degree program in an accredited U.S. institution of higher learning during the academic year following the application date.
The applicant must submit an application and essay explaining his or her career, academic and/or vocational goals.


Missouri Bankers Association

MBA established the Missouri Bankers Foundation in 1985 to provide funding for college scholarships for high school students planning to pursue banking-related college degrees. The foundation solicits and manages investments and distributes funds to support continuing education for Missouri bankers and students preparing for a career in the banking industry.

Missouri Broadcasters Association - KJEL Scholarship

The members of the Missouri Broadcasters Association are committed to encouraging the highest standards of broadcasting. The MBA Scholarship Fund was established as a part of this excellence. Deserving students may receive financial aid to assist them in attaining the training and expertise required to become valuable employees in Missouri’s broadcasting industry.

Missouri Insurance Education Foundation Scholarship

To provide scholarships to four (4) deserving Missouri high school graduating seniors interested in or intending to pursue an insurance, risk management or actuarial science course of study in a Missouri college or university.

Missouri Pet Breeders Association Scholarship

Each year the Missouri Pet Breeders Association awards 4 scholarships in the amount of $500.00 each to students pursuing a degree or certification in fields related to and supportive of agriculture.

Missouri School Boards Association – John T. Belcher Scholarship

One representative from Lebanon High School will be selected to compete for this scholarship. Applicants will be required to write an essay addressing a selected topic regarding improvements to public education.

Missouri Cattlemen’s Foundation Scholarships

Applicant must be a Missouri resident and a current paid member of the Missouri Junior Cattlemen’s Association or the parent/legal guardian must be a current paid member of the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association. See application for full eligibility requirements.

Missouri Credit Union Scholarship

Each scholarship will be $2,500 for graduating high school seniors who are members of Missouri Credit Union or whose parents are members. The credit union also will award scholarships for students planning to attend post-secondary technical schools such as Linn State Technical College.

Missouri Women’s Golf Association Scholarship

The Missouri Women’s Golf Association, Inc. grants scholarships to high school female students who have participated in the high school golf program. These are given in recognition of her overall academic record, community service activities, leadership and golf experience.

Missouri Society of Professional Engineers Scholarship

Scholarship Entry Rules

1. Only one graduating senior per teacher can be submitted. The selection process is each teacher’s responsibility, but when choosing a candidate overall academic standing should be considered secondary in importance to interest in writing and writing ability.

2. Candidate must be a graduating senior.

3. Candidate should be college bound by the fall semester after they graduate high school.

MUSIC – Dr. Jack Holley Scholarship

This scholarship is directed to high achieving students who demonstrate strong leadership skills both in school related activities and community events. Applications will be made available through the Counseling Office when the the application is released.

1. The public high school you attend must be in a district that is a current member of MUSIC, unless a K‐8 district nominates you.

2. Only ONE application from each high school is to be submitted.

National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Scholarship

Criteria:

1. Applicant must be a Senior

2. Applicant must have achieved at least two (2) of the following:

(A) minimum of B+ average;

(B) Ranked in the top 25% of class;

(C) ACT score of 24 or an SAT score of 1500 (Math, Reading and Writing)

3. Applicant must have participated in two sports for at least two years in each sport

4. Applicant must have earned at least one varsity letter in each of two sports

5. Applicant must complete attached scholar/essay application

6. Applicant must have a letter of recommendation from the high school athletic administrator/director

7. School athletic director must be an NIAAA member and a member of their respective state athletic administrators association

8. The principal or athletic director must sign the application to insure that the academic information submitted is accurate

9. All hard copy materials must be postmarked or electronic materials sent to the NIAAA State Liaison in your respective state by your states deadline

PRIMO Scholarship

PRIMO offers $500 scholarships to the students who are attending an accreditied university, college, or technical school. PRIMO (Public Relations Independent Marketing Organization) is an organization that was founded in 1992. The organization consists of the marketing and public relations employees of independent telephone companies across Kansas and the surrounding states.

Project 21 Scholarship

Project 21 2016 Scholarship Program provides students an opportunity to disseminate their message by writing an article or creating a poster or video addressing the issue of underage gambling. Project 21 Scholarships will be awarded for 2016 as follows: Two $1,500.00 First prizes, and Four $1,000.00 Second Prizes.

Steeler Seaburn Wrestling Scholarship

The Stee Fund was created after the death of Willard High School wrestler Steeler Seaburn in April 2012 as a scholarship fund to help collegiate wrestlers with secondary education costs. The goal of the fund is to award multiple scholarships each year to college bound wrestlers who display the same qualities that made Steeler Seaburn a competitive wrestler, a team leader, and a role model for younger wrestlers.

James & Nellie Westlake Scholarship

Applicants to the James L. and Nellie M. Westlake Scholarship Program must -

Be Missouri residents.
Be graduating seniors at Missouri high schools who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study for the entire upcoming academic year at an accredited four-year college or university,
OR
Be students who have completed one or two full years at a Missouri community college with sufficient
credits to transfer to an accredited four-year college or university at the sophomore or junior level, respectively.
Demonstrate limited financial resources with a family adjusted gross income of $50,000 or less and an
expected family contribution toward college of $7,000 or less
Have at least a cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale except community college applicants with one year transferable credits must have 2.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale.


Women Legislators of Missouri

The Women Legislators of Missouri will sponsor senior high school scholarships for graduating young women in Missouri. We will award eight scholarships, one from each Missouri U.S. Congressional District. The scholarships will be $500.00 each.
