Listing of Scholarships that Have Been Offered to Lebanon High School Students in Prior Years



Unless specifically stated, these scholarships are offered only to seniors who will be graduating in the current school year from Lebanon High School.

Local Scholarships

Bays Care Foundation Scholarship

This $500 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students of a parent or guardian teaching in the Lebanon R3 School district planning to attend a 2 year, 4 year college, university or technical/trade school. Any field of study will be considered for this scholarship.

George & Dorothy Bishop Memorial Scholarship

This $750 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending a two or four year accredited college or university pursuing a degree in the science, medicine, or physical education field.

Boswell Business/Engineering Scholarship

This $2,500 renewable (4 years) scholarship is available to students interested in attending a two or four year accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Business/Engineering.

Brian Chastain Memorial Scholarship

This $500 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending a two or four year accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Other fields of study will be considered if there are no qualified applicants seeking a degree in Business.

Clinton J. Carr Foundation Scholarship

This $2,000 renewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending a Missouri state accredited university or College of the Ozarks.

Cheri Jo Davis Memorial Scholarship

This $1,000 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending a Missouri state accredited university or College of the Ozarks pursuing a degree in the performing arts. Students must have fully participated in the performing art program during their high school career.

CBC of the Ozarks Scholarship

Students that have participated in the CBC blood drives as volunteers are eligible to apply for this scholarship

William H. Cooper Leadership Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements

High School seniors attending the eligible high schools determined by the Presidents of each market area of FSCB.


Plans to further their education in a business related field at a 2-year or 4-year institution.
Reside in a county where a FSCB location exists or a county which is considered to be in the immediate trade area of an FSCB location.


To ensure community perception of impartiality, immediate family members & dependents of FSCB employees are discouraged from applying.


Dwaine and Judith Crigger Memorial Scholarship

One $500 nonrenewable scholarship is offered to students enrolled at a 2 or 4 year college, university or technical/trade school. Preference will be given to students pursuing a career in the Fine Arts or Woodworking, but will consider applicants pursuing other career interests. a 2.5 minimum cumulative high school GPA is required.

William and Barbara Day Memorial Scholarship

This $2,500 renewable (2 years) scholarship is available to students interested in attending a four year Missouri state accredited college or university.

Durham Scholarship

The Durham Company Engineering Internship/Scholarship is a $750/semester scholarship for a minimum of 1 year, and is awarded with the expectation that the awarded applicant be available for employment with The Durham Company (or affiliates) as a paid intern for the summer between Senior High School year and College.

Ellis Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to students displaying high academic achievement and economic need. Three students from LHS are selected to compete for this scholarship.

Ft. Wood Community Spouses Scholarship

The Fort Wood Community Spouses' Club (FWCSC) is a private organization designed to benefit families of its members, by raising and distributing funds back into the community. Our scholarships are for students, who earnestly plan to seek a bachelor, associate, or similar degree/diploma from an accredited college, university or vocational technical school. The award may be applied towards any college-related expenses, i.e. tuition, fees, books, room and board.

Fred and Flora Koby Memorial Scholarship

Six $2,000 nonrenewable scholarships are available to students enrolled in vocational/technical schools or pursuing a career in music. Students enrolled in 2 year or 4 year colleges or universities are also encouraged to apply for this scholarship.

Friends of the Fort Scholarship


Four $500 nonrenewable scholarships are available to students interested in attending a two or four year college, university or technical school who have maintained a minimum cumulative 2.5 high school GPA. Recipients are required to have a family member who has been or is part of the armed forces.

Gasconade C-4 Scholarship

This $1,000 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students who have attended Gasconade C-4 school for at least 3 years.

Harke Family Scholarship

This is a $2,500 renewable scholarship available to students displaying financial need who have maintained above a 2.5 cumulative high school GPA.

Jerry Hoover Memorial Scholarship

This $1,000 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending Missouri State University and participate in the MSU Pride Band/concert band program OR plan on majoring in music at another accredited college or university and participate in the college/university marching and concert band program. Eligible applicants must be an active member of the LHS band program.

Merle Hough Memorial (Masonic Lodge #83) Scholarship - College/University

Seniors pursuing a degree at a 2 year or 4 year college/university should apply for this $2,500 nonrenewable scholarship.

Merle Hough Memorial (Masonic Lodge #83) Scholarship - Technical School

Seniors pursuing a certification in a trade or technical program should apply for this $2,000 nonrenewable scholarship.

Interact (Rotary) Scholarship

Two $500 nonrenewable scholarships are available to students who are current members of the Interact Club.

James Cumbea (NWTF) Scholarship

This $500 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending a two or four year college, university or technical school.

James E. & Elizabeth McClure Memorial Scholarship

Two $2,500 nonrenewable scholarships are available to students interested in attending a Missouri state accredited university.

Joel E. Barber C- 5 Scholarship

This $500 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students who graduated 8th grade from Joel E. Barber.

John Honssinger Memorial Scholarship

This $1,000 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending a two or four year Missouri state accredited college or university.

Kelly Ray Kelso Memorial Scholarship

This $500 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students who is a member of the Math Department at LHS. In the event that no member of the Math Department can qualify, then the scholarship will be made available to any other student who qualifies. Any field of study will qualify for this scholarship.

Laclede Electric Electrical Distributors Scholarship

Students enrolling at State Tech College in Linn, Missouri pursuing a two year Applied Science Degree in Electrical Distribution Systems are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Laclede Electric Operation Roundup Scholarship

Applicants must attend a high school or a private school in the service area of Laclede Electric Cooperative (Camdenton, Conway, Hartville, Laquey, Lebanon, Richland, Stoutland, and Waynesville); be home schooled; or live in the service area of Laclede Electric Cooperative and attend a high school out of the service area

Lebanon High School – FFA Scholarships

Scholarships are available to students who have actively participated in the FFA program at Lebanon High School during their high school career.

Lebanon Kiwanis Club Scholarship

Up to four $1,000 nonrenewable scholarships are available to students interested in attending a two or four year accredited college or university from the Lebanon/Conway area.

LHS Class of 1960 Scholarship

This $2,500 renewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending a two or four year college, university or technical school who have maintained a minimum cumulative 2.5 high school GPA.

LHS Class of 1966 Scholarship

One $1,000 scholarship is offered to students enrolled in a 2 or 4 year college university displaying financial need who have been leaders both in the school and community. A minimum cumulative 2.5 high school GPA is required.

LEA Scholarship

Four $500 nonrenewable scholarships are available to students interested in attending a two or four year college, university or technical school. Preference will be given to student with parents who are teachers.

Lebanon Optimist Club Scholarship

Five $500 nonrenewable scholarships are available to students interested in attending a college, university or an accredited technical school and have maintained a minimum 2.5 cumulative high school GPA.

Lillian Doublin Martell Memorial Scholarship

This $300 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in pursuing a career in cosmetology.

Lebanon Soccer Association Scholarship

Two $500 nonrenewable scholarships are available to students interested in attending a two or four year accredited college or university. Applicants must have been involved with the Lebanon Soccer Association at some point in their life (player, coach, referee, etc.).

Myrtle McCracken-Lillard Memorial Scholarship

This $1,000 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending a two or four year accredited college or university pursuing a degree in the arts (music, art, dance, theatre, etc.).

Melva Palmer Ellis (Rotary) Memorial Scholarship

Nonrenewable Scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,500 are available to students interested in pursuing a career in education and who express a belief in God and follow religious principles based on that belief.

Eddie Miller Memorial Scholarship

This $500 scholarship is for a graduating high school senior who will be attending a two year or four year college, university or technical school as a full time student and is in financial need.

Jack Miller Memorial Scholarship

Students enrolled at Missouri State University are eligible to apply for this $1,000 non-renewable scholarship.

Kenneth Miller Memorial Scholarship

This $1,000 nonrenewable scholarship is offered to graduating seniors pursuing a career in business and/or accounting. Preference will be given to students seeking career as a lineman for an electrical utility company.

Miss Merrie Christmas Pageant Scholarship

The winner of the Miss Merrie Christmas Pageant in Lebanon will receive this scholarship.

MFA Foundation Scholarship

This $2,000 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending a two or four year Missouri state accredited college or university pursuing studies relating to agriculture or other fields of study that benefit rural life.

Missouri Association Mutual Insurance Companies (MAMIC) Scholarship

MAMIC awards eight-$1,000 scholarships to Missouri high school seniors (one in each MAMIC district). The applicant must plan to continue his/her education in an accredited college or university within the State of Missouri. Consideration will be given to need, grades, activities, and essay.

Missouri State Knights of Columbus Scholarship

This $1,000 scholarship is open to any practicing Catholic who is a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish, and will be enrolled in any post-secondary educational program, including graduate school, four year undergraduate college/university, two year college, and technical school.

Missouri State University Alumni Lebanon Chapter Scholarship

Students enrolled at Missouri State University are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Ebb Montgomery Memorial Scholarship


To be eligible for the Wesley Elbert “Ebb” and Helen Montgomery Memorial Scholarship, a student shall meet the following selection requirements.

Attend Lebanon High School for his/her entire Junior and Senior years.
Attain a high school cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Enroll in an accredited four-year college or university in or outside the State of Missouri.
Use the Lebanon High School Scholarship Application Form.
National Wild Turkey Federation Scholarship – Ed Fleshman Memorial Scholarship

Students pursuing post-secondary education who are members of the National Wild Turkey Federation are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Patsy Pruitt Memorial Scholarship

This $500 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending a two or four year college, university or technical school pursuing a degree in education.

Philia Club Scholarship

This $750 renewable scholarship is available to students interested in pursuing their education.

Rainey/Luthy Memorial Scholarship

This $300 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in pursuing a degree in education.

School of Metaphysics Scholarship

This $500 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending a two or four year college, university or technical school. You may pick up an application packet in the Counselor's Office.

St. Francis DeSales Scholarship

This $500 scholarship is open to any practicing Catholic who is a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish, and will be enrolled in any post-secondary educational program beginning fall of 2019, including graduate school, four year undergraduate college/university, two year college, and technical school.

Roy True Memorial Scholarship

This $400 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending a trade or technical school.

VFW Post 4107 and Ladies Auxiliary Scholarships

Two $500 nonrenewable scholarships are available to students interested in attending a two or four year college, university or technical school. Recipients are not required to have a family member who has been or is part of the armed forces; however additional consideration will be given to those that do.

Linda Watson Memorial Scholarship

This $2,000 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending a two or four year college, university or technical school who have maintained a minimum cumulative 2.0 high school GPA. Financial need will be heavily considered in the selection process.

Claude & Pearl Watson Memorial Scholarship

This $4,000 nonrenewable scholarship is available to students interested in attending a two or four year technical school (college or university applicants will also be considered) who have maintained a minimum cumulative 2.0 high school GPA. Financial need will be heavily considered in the selection process.

J. Fred Wright & Mabel Nelson Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements:

Students will complete the Lebanon High School Scholarship Application.
Economic need and rural background will be heavily weighted.
Preference will be given to students pursuing nursing or agriculture related fields.
Local Scholarships

All of these scholarships are generously sponsored by LOCAL and STATE businesses from our community. Most of these scholarships will require a cover letter, the basic application (link for each application are after the name) as well as an essay, resume, two letters of recommendation and an official transcript and should be turned into the Guidance Office.

Please turn in any local or community scholarships to Mrs. Conti by the deadline and he will deliver them to the donors.

Students who have been accepted to attend and have committed to attending Missouri State University should stop by the Counselor's office to express interest in receiving the MSU Leadership Scholarship. Four $1,000 renewable scholarship (4 years) scholarships are being offered.
