Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) Days/Snow Days

How many AMI days will there be in the 2025-2026 school year? What happens when those AMI Days run out?

  •  There will still be 6 designated AMI days in the 2025-2026 school year in the event of inclement weather or an emergency closure as implemented in past years.

When school is canceled or dismissed early due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, emergency, etc.), how will it be communicated?

  •  School closures will be communicated through an email, text message, phone call, posted on the LebanonR3 Website, radio and TV channels. If school has to close unexpectedly during the school day, there will be a text and email notification for parents.

District Salaries

Do Central Office Administration receive higher raises than the rest of the District?

  • The Central Office Administration has not had disproportionate COLAs or steps awarded by the Board Of Education. There are individuals who have had changes to their title and job responsibilities resulting in overall changes to compensation. Individuals who are in the same position year over year are awarded similar percentage increases to that of teachers.

  • The annual percentage pay increase for administrators and teachers are consistent each year. Annual Cost of Living Allowances (COLA) are consistent for all job groups while movement (steps) on the salary schedule may be awarded, if the Board chooses to do so. There are some job groups that may have variability in overall annual percentage increases if it is necessary to keep them competitive in the market, which has often been referred to as “the middle of the pack.”
