Our group supports district technology resources for 5500 students, staff and faculty, which occupies 517,000 sq. ft. of facilities, across 8 campuses and other smaller sites; all on 120 acres. Resources include about 2400 computers and tablets, 38 servers, 150 network printers, 182 wireless access points and bridges, 400 digital, IP-based and Smart-phones, 64 megapixels of digital surveillance, more than 300 interactive whiteboards and projectors, 52 miles of glass fiber, nearly 110 high-density switches-routers, nearly one million feet of CAT6 cable, 50-terabytes of SAN data, and 5 million emails that account for one-terabyte of annual message data.
