Parents as Teachers is a free program for all parents with children from prenatal through 5 years of age. Parents as Teachers serves the families of the Lebanon R-III, Joel E. Barber, and Gasconade School Districts.

Parents as Teachers Technology Lab

Thanks to a grant received from Copeland, Inc. and Lebanon School District, the Lebanon Area Parents as Teachers announces the opening of their new preschool technology lab program. This program is designed to provide children 3 - 5 years opportunities to work on basic skills using computers with educational software. The computer lab will be set up with 6 computers and software. Children will work with their parents during a 30 minute block of time using the computers.

Benefits of the program include learning eye-hand coordination, being confident and comfortable on the computer and enhancing the skills needed to navigate through computer programs. Basic skills such as colors, shapes, memory skills, numbers, letters and more complex concepts are also developed. Click here for more pictures...

Parents As Teachers Educators will be present to offer assistance when needed. The technology lab will be open Monday - Thursday from 9:15 am - 1:45 pm. A complete schedule can be located on the Lebanon R-III web site under Parents As Teachers link or parents may call the Parents As Teachers offices @ 417-533-3822 for more information or to schedule a lab time.

Lab hours are 8:30 am - 1:45 pm. Monday - Thursday. Computer lab will NOT be open on the following dates: March 18-29, April 18, May 9, and if Lebanon Schools are CLOSED, the computer lab will also be closed.
